New adolescent treatment report
The RAND Corporation released a report entitled: The Relative Effectiveness of 10 Adolescent Substance Abuse Treatment Programs in the United States. It's based on finds from SAMHSA's Adolescent Treatment Models project. From a cursory review, they characterize the programs as "highly effective" based on pre/post AOD use. However, they appear to have found few differences between the outcomes of these programs and "treatment as usual".
